That’s right, Green Jelly, known as Green Jello back in the day. The band started touring in the early 80s and made friends with GWAR, bonding over their love of costumes and theatrical stage performances that centered on the comically gross.  Their Three Little Pigs song was an MTV hit.  Their album “Cereal Killer Soundtrack” went gold, and their following album “333″ was grammy nominated, which included a song that appeared on the Dumb and Dumber movie.  Green Jelly also wrote the first video game soundtrack for Acclaim Entertainment’s Spider Man & Venom: Maximum Carnage. Maynard Keenan and Danny Carey were amongst the band members until splitting to form Tool. The band is on Rotten Records and began touring again in 2008 to support the re-release of “Cereal Killer Soundtrack” and “333″ on DVD.
